Academics

The school follows the syllabus prescribed by C.B.S.E. and imparts education for all round development of its pupils in English Medium. A continuous and comprehensive evaluation (C.C.E.) is followed upto Class X which will help in stress-free learning . In order to minimize stress, absolute marks are translated into grades. The formative assessment focuses on oral & written evaluation both, where as Summative assessment is completely based on written examination. Formative assessments focus on the student's ability to function effectively in groups, complete home assignments using lateral thinking skills,complete projects using information knowledge acquired through classroom learning experiences, develop and hone emotional skills and inter and intra-personal skills through team work etc. Summative assessments empower the students to scor e amazing grades in the Summative areas. It is a curricular initiative, attempting to shift emphasis from learning and testing to holistic learning.

It aims at creating good citizens, possessing sound health, appropriate skills & desirable qualities, besides academic excellence.

2. Class III to V
English, Hindi, Maths, Environmental Science, Sanskrit (Class IV onwards), Moral Education, General Knowledge, Art & Craft, Computer Literacy and Awareness, Music and Dance, Physical Education, Art of Productive Living & Life Skill Education.
3. Class VI to VIII
English, Hindi, Maths, Science & Technology (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Social Science (History, Civics & Geography), Sanskrit, General Knowledge, Art & Craft, Computer Literacy and Awareness, Music & Moral Education (Life Skill Education for Classes VI & VII), Physical Education & Environmental Education. 4. Class IX & X
English, Hindi, Maths, Sanskrit, Science &Technology (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Social Science (History, Civics, Disaster Management, Economics & Geography), Work Experience, Computer Literacy and Awareness, Music, Physical Education and Environmental Education.

In Class XI a student can offer her choice of stream & subjects as given below. As per CBSE guidelines, a student is not permitted to change subjects in X & XII.

(d) Geography / Fashion Studies
(e) Sanskrit / Multimedia & Web Technology / Hindi Core (one Subject from each combination)
Additional Subject - Business Studies
2. Science Stream
(a) English Core (Compulsory)

(c) Chemistry (Compulsory)
(d) Sanskrit / Computer Science / Mathematics
(e) Biology / Hindi Core / Sanskrit (one Subject from each combination)

3. Commerce Stream

2. RETAIL MANAGEMENT English, two Retail subjects ,Economics, Psychology, Multimedia (additional compulsory).
3. FINANCIAL MARKET MANAGEMENT English, Economics, Accounts, introduction to Financial market, Computer application in Financial market (Maths-additional-optional).
4. MASS MEDIA STUDIES & MEDIA PRODUCTION English, Two Mass Media subjects, Sociology, Psychology,Multimedia (additional compulsory).
5. Foreign Language FRENCH as additional language is available to the student of class VI - IX and XI.
